The first, the 2005 Stellar Vineyard Syrah, is a single-vineyard Syrah, which received 90 points from Wine Spectator. Aromas of blackberry, overripe strawberries and white pepper reveal the complex layers of this wine. Pair it with robust, hearty flavors or enjoy the sophication and complexity imbued by flavorful grapes and age.
The 2006 Syrah is a delcious and awarded wine, having won a gold medal from the Seattle Wine Awards, the Grand Harvest Awards and a double gold from Wine Press Northwest besides scoring an impressive 92 points in Wine Spectator. Thewine starts with rich blast of blueberries nuanced by black currents, anise, spice and white pepper and filling up the senses. The wine walks the tightrope of balancing fruit, tannins, acidity and a silky mouthfeel with finesse.
Finally, we are including from our Reserve Tasting the 2006 Golden’s Legacy Syrah. This is another single-vineyard syrah that earned a Gold at the Seattle Wine Awards and a Silver at the San Diego International Wine Competition. Aromas of blackberry, plum and blueberry inundate your senses while spices of cardamom, clove and white pepper release their aromas. These layers of flavors come together on the palate with mature tannins, subtle acidity and a lush mouth feel.
